Gerard Butler is back as former secret service agent Mike Banning. The White House has been attack by a terrorist group and has destroyed it, more like blown to pieces. The president of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) has been kidnapped for ransom. It is up to Mike Banning to retrieve the president and end this terrorist organization for good.

This action packed thriller seems to be Gerard’s big action movie comeback. There are plenty of explosion, some awesome guns, and Gerard looks like he is back to being the hardcore action star that most people want him to be. The story looks very basic but hopefully the non-stop action will keep the movie on point.
